WHAT A TRIP – MARRYING TWO COUPLES ON THE STAGE AT THE USA SEVENS RUGBY TOURNAMENT IN LAS VEGAS!

No pressure at all…only 30,000 fans and televised in over 200 countries around the world – and there I was – uniting couples in marriage on the stage, in between games! This was probably one of the most exciting, scary, FUN and over the top COOLEST experiences I have ever enjoyed (next to skydiving and being a glider pilot doing aerobatics!). United World Sports was so generous in outfitting me with a USA Jersey and a USA blazer that allowed me to have the coolest swag in the stadium!

Oh my gosh this was a blast. My first (and I thought only) couple was from South Africa and they flew here to support the South African Seaboks and recite their vows of “LOVE ME TENDER” on the stage in front of millions of fans.

No sooner had I married the South African couple when another wild and fun couple in the VIP tent contemplated doing the same! So off they went to the Marriage Bureau that evening and I returned to the Sam Boyd Stadium the next, thinking I was marrying them in the VIP Tent. Well, I thought wrong! My couple pulled some strings and you guessed it – back up on stage we went! This time, they had a full entourage and we ended the wedding with a Star Trek Wave! SOOOO MUCH FUN!!

Meet PHIL & GILL!! Married on the stage at Sam Boyd Stadium, March 6, 2016. These two had so much love and support around them – it was incredible…and so were they – just an absolutely beautiful and loving couple. After 8 years of being in love, 2 years of that being engaged – they decided this was the place to be married! Why not?? This was their 4th Sevens Tournament – this was home for them.

PHIL & GILL hope to be back next year as we renew their vows…we have one year to dream up an experience that will exceed their wedding day!! All suggestions welcome!!
